The first turn of airfield complex of CE "International airport "Donetsk" terminal was finished. In the new terminal building was started staff education and fixing works on the technological equipment.
"At the expense of project changing there have occurred specified kinds of works, that were not included in the primary project. The changes in the project decisions were made and according to facing works, and constructive scheme of building itself and technological scheme of passengers flows. All this caused range of changes, but nevertheless, builders did everything in time and till the 29th of December have practically finished everything", - commented on the terminal construction deputy of company "Altcom" production director Sergey Kuprin.
According to him today we can say that construction works in the main terminal zones are finished. Works on technological, office and additional premises facing are finishing. All engineering equipment of building life sustenance is assembled. All ventilation systems, conditioning, heating and watter supplying. Works on power nets of electric supplying and low-current systems of structure cable nets are finishing.
Besides, in the full volume are finished assembling works of main technological equipment of luggage system, are implemented fixing works. All 24 elevators and 18 escalators of terminal building were assembled and are in working regime after successful fixing works. Now their transferring to airport exploitation services is implemented. All technological furniture was in full volume assembled in new terminal building. All furniture in passengers registration zone was assembled. Assembling of passport cabins is implemented. Furniture for cafe and restaurants is being assembled.
"Main airport exploitation services have already started education in new terminal building. For this purpose we 0n the 22d of December transferred some premises where education classes were organized. At the beginning of February 2012 German specialists of company "ORAT" will start airport testing in the complex with main staff education on the fully assembled equipment", - told S. Kuprin.
