On 10th November a delegation from TUV Rheinland visited our offices to hand over our official ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification. “This holds profound significance for Stefanutti Stocks Pty Ltd as we strategically navigate the realms of digital transformation in the SADC construction industry,” says Stefanutti Stocks’ Digital Transformation Officer Alfred Agyei.
This internationally recognized standard for Information Security Management Systems not only underscores the Group’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding sensitive information but also aligns seamlessly with its overarching goal of creating a distinct business advantage through digitalization. Stefanutti Stocks has become the first construction company in South Africa to achieve the 27001 certification, and is one of the first in the world to achieve the 2022 standard. “As we embark on this transformative journey ISO/IEC 27001:2022 serves as a pivotal foundation, fortifying our operations against cybersecurity threats and exemplifying our proactive approach in identifying and mitigating risks,” says Agyei.
Internally, this certification signifies our dedication to the highest standards of information security, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical data. Externally, it positions #StefanuttiStocks as a trustworthy and forward-thinking partner in the construction sector, which is vital in an era where digital resilience is a paramount consideration.
In essence, ISO 27001:2022 certification is not merely a compliance accolade; it is a strategic investment that synergizes seamlessly with our digital transformation initiatives, propelling Stefanutti Stocks as a secure, reliable, and innovative force within the industry. “This achievement not only enhances our corporate reputation but also strengthens our competitiveness, opening doors to new opportunities and partnerships,” concludes Agyei.
Congratulation to our excellent Stefanutti Stocks IT team – both for this important achievement and for living the organisational motto of #ExcellenceInExecution.
