A comprehensive payroll solution, which offers users a single solution that includes all the features and functionality that usually have to be bought in add-on modules, has been launched by payroll software specialist Softline Pastel Payroll, part of the Softline and Sage group.
Aimed at small and medium-sized enter- prises, the Pastel Partner 5in1 payroll software is an affordable, comprehensive payroll software solution, particularly for smaller businesses, which can buy the software through monthly payments.
With five products in one package, the software caters for the full spectrum of business requirements, including predefined sets of transactions for less complex payroll and human resources solutions to powerful, customisable features and functions for companies with complicated requirements, says Softline Pastel Payroll MD Grant Lloyd.

The development of the software was driven by the notion to work smarter, not harder, to ensure companies comply with complex business and tax legislation at the click of a button, says Lloyd.

There is also significant human resources functionality that ensures staff performance reviews and disciplinary actions are executed correctly, with standard human resources formats and templates for employment contracts and other significant documents, he concludes.
