Construction equipment manufacturer Wacker Neuson says its German-manufactured compact wheel loaders have enjoyed tremendous success in several local industries, including the construction, roadworks, industrial, mining, agriculture and landscaping industries, in the last five years.

Wacker Neuson South Africa MD Eugene Brown tells Engineering News that this can be attributed to the company’s wheel loaders being “extremely versatile and providing superior operational efficiency with a high degree of reliability”.

However, he asserts that the real value of the Wacker Neuson wheel loader’s features is measured according to the benefits the customer receives.

“This is why we have invested in the latest technologies, design and engineering for our wheel loaders – to ensure that they deliver high performance and reliable operation, together with operator comfort and safety,” states Brown.

He adds that the wheel loader’s low operational costs, increased uptime, improved productivity and low cost of ownership are significant benefits for customers.

Brown emphasises that customers not only want to get the job done, but also want it done efficiently and safely.

“The wheel loader’s optimally efficient power-to-weight ratio, low transport weight and consistently high payload are really appreciated by our customers.”

He points out that the one-piece chassis design, together with the all-wheel steering system of the Wacker Neuson wheel loader, provides optimal stability, as the machine’s centre of gravity is not altered by the steering movements.

“Further, the all-wheel steering system ensures high levels of manoeuvrability, allowing the machine to easily handle high payloads over rough, uneven terrain and around tight bends,” Brown states.
