Energy Engineered Products, leading stockists and distributors of industrial stainless steel, corrosion resisting alloys and valves for over two decades, proudly announces the establishment of their new fastener division, Energy Bolts. Energy Bolts complements the company’s other business divisions, Energy Metals, Energy Valves, Energy Export and Energy Projects,” according to EEP Business Development Director, Graham Whitty. In mid-2012, specialist manufacturer and supplier of fastener solutions, UK based Hydrobolt Limited, appointed EEP as their partner in South Africa. Hydrobolt Limited manufactures, stocks, distributes and exports hot forged and bar turned, fully traceable, high integrity special alloy fasteners, petro-chemical grade studbolt assemblies and machined components.

“Our business is built on a sound long term relationship with Hydrobolt Limited (UK)  and the two companies share synergies of quality products, superlative service and a strong customer-focus,” explains Graham. “EEP product solutions include pipe, fittings, flanges, round bar, hex bar, angle, flat bar, heat exchanger tubing, valves and fasteners. We receive many enquiries for special alloy fasteners and it is therefore a natural progression to expand into a range of fasteners. We are in the process of building stock of standard grade fasteners, including our fast moving commodity B7 grades. We are well positioned to offer an extensive range of special grade fasteners, such as Hastelloy, Inconel, Super Duplex, Durehete, and coated items in PTFE and Xylan. Graham says that both companies are committed to meeting customer requirements through supplying top quality products, and providing the right solutions on time. Hydrobolt is internationally accredited and their customer portfolio includes some of the largest oil and gas companies. “In addition to the undisputable quality of their products, Hydrobolt also brings to the table technique expertise that we can leverage,” adds Graham.

He continues, “In addition to expanding our product offering to our core markets including mining, petrochemical, power generation, water treatment, pollution control, pulp and paper, OEM manufacturers, as well as general fabrication, this partnership with Hydrobolt opens up new markets for us and we foresee massive scope in industries such as power generation, oil and gas, chemical, pumps and valves, fabrication, etc. We are now able to sell from stock and include fasteners in our projects. Customers have the advantage and convenience of being able to deal with only one company - a true turnkey solution.” “We believe our partnership with Hydrobolt offers our customers unrivalled product choice, vast experience, expert advice and the assurance of the highest levels of quality. By expanding our product range we are adding value to the benefit of our customers,” concludes Graham.
