Attached please find a press release on: South Africa is a country aware as any other of the need to conserve the world's energy resources.
Historically South Africa has relied on its large coal deposits to provide its energy needs, but in
January 2008 the electricity demand outstripped supply and load shedding had to take place. This
was a sharp warning of the need for change in South Africa's energy utilisation.
