New Energy Husum  (0.05 MB)

The tenth New Energy Husum trade fair is focused  on grass roots energy transition. From 20 to 23 March 2014 the focus of the exhibition and the congress in the North Frisian town is own use of renewable energy, alternative transport with electric vehicles, energy-efficient and ecological building. “New Energy Husum will be presenting trade and private visitors the complete spectrum of technologies and products for the comprehensive grass roots implementation of the energy transition”, explains Peter Becker, managing director of the organiser, Messe Husum & Congress.

300 exhibitors and around 15,000 visitors

Messe Husum & Congress is once again expecting  300 exhibitors from 15 countries, who will be showcasing their new products and successful projects over 16,000 square metres of exhibition space in four exhibition halls. The spectrum ranges from biogas, combined heat and power plants, fuel cells and energy storage, geothermal energy and pellet heating to small wind turbines, photovoltaic and solar heating systems. In a special show, enhanced by talks on energy-efficient and ecological building and renovation, exhibitors will be showing passive houses, low energy and zero energy houses, other eco building and modernisation concepts, in a lively and practical manner. Presentations and exhibition stands relating to electric vehicles will be enhanced with a test track for electric vehicles. Attendees can try out the latest models on our special course.

The organisers are expecting around 15,000 trade and private visitors from home and abroad in 2014. The exhibition will be accompanied by an extensive programme of events in German, Danish and English. In addition to congress events for trade visitors, such as the World Summit for Small Wind, and an energy storage forum, 2014 will offer the first visitors’ forum on the subject of small wind turbines and opportunities for ordinary citizens to be involved in electricity grids. “Because the trades are an important driving factor for the energy transition, we will be offering special workshops for tradesmen at the next New Energy Husum”, adds Becker.
