The Competition Commission on Monday asked the Competition Tribunal to confirm a consent agreement for construction firm Stefanutti Stocks, bringing an end to a six-year collusion case.

The commission’s case against Stefanutti stemmed from a September 2009 complaint against a number of companies in the construction sector for alleged collusive conduct.

No administrative penalty had been disclosed because of full disclosure, with Stefanutti confirming collusive conduct relating to two projects, namely the Rainbow Farms and Building Project and Lanxess Ground Water Remediation.

The tribunal would meet on Wednesday.
