A new version of a cloud-based business telephone management system (TMS) was recently launched.

A TMS is a software application that allows organisations to track telephone call expenditure by keeping track of telephone usage.

The new TMS version 3 from Euphoria Telecom has added features, with an upgraded Web interface and is said to have the potential to improve business efficiency while delivering reporting and workforce management capabilities.

The system was designed specifically for the South African market, using international best practice development methodologies.

The company states that it allows businesses to control, manage, automate, personalise and analyse phone systems from one central point. The user is able to log in to the TMS remotely to make any required changes.

The new TMS version offers features such as per-extension based budgeting, mobile device applications (for both Android and IOS) that ensure landline mobility and remote office deployment. Customers can also access browser phone applications, Protection of Personal Information Act-compliant call recording, global contact manager and reporting tools.

In addition, the user manager feature allows team leaders and managers access to specific sections of the TMS. By setting permissions for certain users, managers can control access to sensitive team data.

Additional security layers have also been added, enabling businesses to restrict and secure phone system data and user functionality.

The scheduled reporting feature allows scheduled reports to be personalised and to be delivered into an email inbox hourly, daily, weekly or monthly.

Management features include detailed drilldown functionality as well as being able to create company-specific pause and unpause codes, with the aim of providing greater control of user productivity.

Business owners can use the system to choose how long to keep their data, when to delete it and who has access to data.

The company states that all data is securely backed up and stored in data centres across South Africa and Europe.

In addition, it has developed Webhook features that make it possible for customers to integrate with other platforms that allow for application programming interface integration.
