The World Wind Energy Association (WWEA) will be hosting its third World Wind Energy Conference and Renewable Energy Exhibition, including Wind Power Asia 2004, in Beijing, China, later this year.

The body reports the international wind industry is showing strong interest in Chinese wind market and China is making big efforts to foster its wind energy utilisation within the next future, which has already reached an impressive technical level.
