Company Announcement - CGG and Air Control announced today the signing of an agreement to provide airborne geophysical survey services in Kazakhstan.  This agreement will allow Air Control to offer the full suite of CGG airborne geophysical technologies for subsurface exploration to oil & gas and mining clients in Kazakhstan. Air Control performs flight inspection services at all of Kazakhstan’s airports, offers aerial imagery and terrain elevation data using the latest laser scanner equipment and provides technical and management support to various aviation operators.

Oleg Lischuk, Chairman of the Board, Air Control, said: “From the very beginning of our operation we were focused on the provision of special mission flights. Air Control started with Flight Inspection Services in Central Asia and the Caucasus region, then we added LIDAR and aerial photography surveys and now we are extending our portfolio with CGG’s best-in-class airborne geophysical survey services. Our cooperation with CGG will provide our customers with a wide spectrum of solutions for aerial surveys.”

Benoit Ribadeau Dumas, Senior Executive Vice President, Acquisition, CGG, said: “Our multi-physics solutions are a timely and cost-effective way to de-risk exploration and many of our multi-national clients have asked when we would provide these services in Kazakhstan. We are very excited about this collaboration with Air Control. Air Control is an ideal partner for us as a result of its successful track record and reputation for providing specialized high-technology applications in the aviation sector in Kazakhstan.”
