The company’s unrivalled processing experience includes classification and beneficiation of minerals and value addition for quarried building materials and demolition waste.
Projects/ Services overview
The CDE equipment range has applications across a wide range of materials and is delivering significant efficiencies in the construction and recycling, mining, specialist industrial sands and environmental sectors. Working across five sectors and eight regions, CDE has been co-creating with customers for 25 years to deliver collaborative, imaginative and unique processing systems. The company’s headquarters are located in Northern Ireland and it has offices in India, Brazil, Australia, and Northern America. CDE also has representatives based in North Africa, sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East.
CDE’s core focus in the implementation of new technologies is the delivery of best performance for its customers. Not only do the company’s technologies have a proven ability to deal with particularly difficult materials, but they also allow for maximum production and therefore minimum waste. In a bid to ensure seamless communications, CDE has teams in each region in order to be close to their customer base and available for a phone call or a visit without any language or time zone issues.
CDE’s project management expertise is extensive and the company takes charge of all aspects of each project from initial discussions through to the installation phase and beyond. Services includes design, manufacture, installation, commissioning and after sales.
For each plant CDE designs and deploys, the ProMan system kicks in as soon as the order is placed. ProMan entails the allocation of a Project Manager as the single point of contact for the client. Supported by a Project Team that covers all aspects of the work, the Project Manager accompanies the client from the conception of their bespoke wet processing installation to its commissioning, with responsibility to deliver the highest level of quality within agreed timeframes and costs.
The success of the company is largely driven by its consistent focus on innovation. A finalist at the Bauma Innovation Awards 2016 in Germany, CDE nurtures and invests in its research and development (R&D) department to ensure it remains at the top of modern technologies in order to offer the most efficient, value for money and user-friendly equipment. The company’s technologies are widely regarded as industry leading.
The sub-Saharan Africa market
With a team based in South Africa, CDE is rapidly growing its footprint in sub-Saharan Africa as quarry and mine operators are upgrading their installations to enjoy the benefits of wet processing technology in terms of more efficient production and higher product quality.
CDE’s best sellers in the market include a wet processing and classification plant – the EvoWash – and the AquaCycle thickener, which recycles up to 90% of waste water.
Nicolan Govender, Regional Manager Africa at CDE, said: “CDE’s materials washing and beneficiation solutions are developed to ensure high efficiency and rapid return on investment, with minimal environmental impact and optimal water and energy savings. Our high-tech, hard-wearing and user-friendly materials washing solutions are perfectly adapted to the requirements of the Southern African construction and mining industry. We see a strong future for our products in Southern Africa and I look forward to participating in Bauma Conexpo Africa in March 2018 in Johannesburg, where we will be introducing our latest innovations and bespoke solutions to quarry and mine operators.”
