Project Description
The Cameroon LNG project will consist of a production plant located 30 km south of Kribi on the southern coast of Cameroon and will be supplied by a national gas transportation network connecting gas resources.

The liquefaction plant will have a production capacity of up to 3.5-million tons a year of LNG for the first train.

The project also involves the construction of a 270 km offshore pipeline connecting offshore gasfields in Cameroon to the LNG terminal.

The terminal will comprise one onshore tank of 190 000 m³, two 44 000 m³ liquefied petroleum gas tanks, one condensate tank of 60 000 m³, and a 1 650 m product export jetty.

The project is valued at about $2.5-billion.

The project is scheduled for completion in 2017.
