The export terminal will be built on SCT&E’s 100 ha site located on Monkey Island, in Cameron Parish, Louisiana, US.

Project Description
The project involves the development of a 12-million-tonne-a-year LNG export terminal using three identical four-million-tonne-a-year natural gas liquefaction trains, with the necessary utilities, storage and marine facilities.

The facility will process 1.60-billion cubic feet of natural gas a day.

Latest Developments
To date, SCT&E LNG has signed four offtake memorandums of understanding for a total of 4.7-million tonnes a year of LNG, more than a third of its proposed facility’s total capacity.
