The project entails the construction of the biggest butane tank ever built in Europe. The tank will allow INEOS to import butane from the US, and world markets in very large gas carrier ships to supply competitive raw material to its plants in Koln, Germany.
It will also provide INEOS Trading & Shipping with options to trade butane in Europe.
