Bobcat Equipment South Africa is a leading supplier of compact equipment on both a sales and rental platform to diverse local and cross-border market sectors, including construction, landscaping, agriculture, grounds maintenance, government, utility, industry and mining.

Bobcat incorporates years of experience in the design of its compact skid-steers, track loaders, excavators, telescopic handlers and tele-rotors to deliver across-the-board power, performance, durability, ergonomics, low maintenance, serviceability, low operational costs and operator safety and comfort for increased uptime and optimum productivity.

The massive range of over 200 off-the-shelf as well as bespoke attachment solutions augments the versatility of the machines.

The superior design, heavy-duty construction, component protection and rugged reliability of the new M-series – S510, S530, S550, S570, S590 and T590 – deliver maximum production and low total cost of ownership. The re-engineered hydraulics system delivers 20% better efficiency; improved attachment performance enhances overall functionality; and the increased tractive power enables operators to push more and dig harder. Stronger hydraulics and better tractive power also result in faster cycle times. The 60% noise reduction inside the 10% larger re-engineered cab improves the working environment and job-site communications and subsequently leads to better production.

Bobcat telescopic handlers are built for precise positioning of bulky and heavy loads. The units combine best-in-class lifting capacity and outstanding stability for efficient, easy, reliable and safe work performance.

The different models available in the range, which provide options such as continuous or limited rotation ability, popular lifting heights and operating capacities, add to the range’s flexibility. The tele-handlers incorporate Bobcat’s full protection concept for maximum durability; tilt cylinders and hydraulic hoses are protected inside the boom and a reinforced underside protects the engine and other vital components.

The ergonomically designed cab, which conforms to ISO 3471 (ROPS) and ISO 3449 (FOPS), includes numerous safety features for optimum operator ease. Easy access to all telescopic handler components allows for simple, quick routine maintenance and servicing.

Bobcat machines are supported by expertly trained technicians, based at the company’s country-wide branch network, who deliver professional after-sales service 24/7. Bobcat is head- quartered in Alberton, Gauteng, and is part of the Goscor Group of companies and Imperial.
