Bidvest McCarthy invests in Isuzu Trucks dealership
Vehicle retailer Bidvest McCarthy has invested in an Isuzu Trucks dealership strategically situated just off the N4 at Gateway Industrial Park in Pretoria East.
The Bidvest industrial conglomerate was extensively involved in freight management, logistics services, terminal operations and marine and aviation services, and the company said the profile of the Isuzu Trucks range ideally suited the fleet requirements of Bidvest’s freight operations.
“Isuzu Trucks dealers are a service organisation that also sell trucks and this new dealer is a further development that flows out of a truck marketing study conducted in 2002,” said Isuzu Trucks CEO Craig Uren.
Bidvest automotive CEO Steve Keys said that while South Africa was experiencing economic hard times, the company did not see the market segments that this new dealership will serve contracting as much as the economy.
“Business success comes from cooperation and collaboration and this is what we have established with Isuzu Trucks South Africa today,” he said.
