Bemical doubles down on zero waste to landfill:

South African has a waste crises looming, and landfills are filling up at an alarming rate with some large sites having less than three years of airspace available, says Leon Grobbelaar, the president of the Institute of Waste Management of Southern Africa.

Bemical is focussed on reducing the amount of waste that is taken to landfill sites, specifically focussed on hazardous waste streams as these pose the largest health and environmental risk. All resources have been allocated to finding and delivering the best possible solutions in this area.

Using a variety of treatment technologies proven over many years combined with local business partners for seamless implementation and a rigorous process enables high quality work. Often hazardous waste treatment will not only yield risk mitigation and increased environmental compliance, but also possible cost savings.
