Equipment manufacturer Bell Equipment expects to report basic and headline earnings a share of 192c a share, for the six months ended June 30, an increase of 77% on the 108c reported for the same period last year.

Profitability after tax is expected to increase to R182-million, from R102-million for the six months ended June 30, 2006.

Shares in Bell Equipment were trading 7,5% higher by 16:50 on Tuesday, at R43,00 a share.
