Bell Equipment expects 60% decline in half-year earnings

Heavy equipment manufacturer Bell Equipment on Thursday announced that it expected its earnings and headline earnings a share for the six months ended June 30 to decline by about 60% to between 60c and 65c compared with 156c during the prior corresponding period.

The company noted that it had previously estimated a decline of up to 70% for the period.

Bell Equipment expected to release its reviewed interim results on or about August 11.
