The project will be located in Bayport, Texas, in the US.

Client
Bayport Polymers, a 50:50 joint venture (JV) between Total and Novealis Holdings (a JV between Borealis and NOVA Chemicals).

Project Description
The project entails the construction of a 650 000 t/y polyethylene unit.

The new unit will more than double the site’s polyethylene capacity to 1.1-million tonnes a year.

Potential Job Creation
The project is expected to employ 1 750 staff during peak construction.
