Engineering project house Bateman Engineering announced this week that it had appointed former Grinaker-LTA MD Eddie du Rand as MD of its largest division, Minerals and Metals.

This was after Engineering News Online reported on July 3 that Du Rand had been head-hunted from his previous postition.

Du Rand would also be a member of the Bateman Engineering’s executive committee, the firm said in an emailed statement.
