Ballito Junction Regional Mall  (0.09 MB)

The much-anticipated opening of Ballito Junction Regional Mall will introduce a sensational assortment of stylish new shopping for the fashion-forward Dolphin Coast.

Ballito Junction will open on Thursday, 23 March, with a strong focus on fashion and accessory brands - from the cool casual of everyday wear to special event statement-making ensembles -which comprise over a third of all shops at the mall.

Owned and developed by the consortium of Menlyn Maine Investment Holdings and Flanagan & Gerard Property Development & Investment, Ballito Junction Regional Mall is the major expansion of an existing 10,000sqm shopping centre, which has grown eight times its size, to a massive 80,000sqm of world-class shopping, restaurants and services.

In this space, it houses all SA’s major national fashion retailers, a hot range of leading local and international fashion brands and a trendy collection of boutiques as well as footwear and accessories stores.

“We know that Ballito Junction is going to appeal to a wide range of shoppers, so we have selected great fashion retailers that will be perfect to cater for a wide array of styles and tastes,” says Carl Jankowitz, director at Menlyn Maine.

The mix starts with fashion from three of the mall’s anchor retailers Woolworths, Edgars and
Pick n Pay Clothing. Ballito Junction has unisex fashion covered with Ackermans, Big Blue, Blue Collar White Collar, Cotton On, Exact, Identity, Jet, Legit, Magents, Mr Price Apparel, Pep, Refinery, Superdry, Truworths, and The Hub.

Ladies’ wear features the chic line-up of Beach & Beyond, Clothesline, Freddy, Lulu’s Boutique, Milady’s, Queenspark, Poetry, The Fix, Trinity, White Summer and Vanilla Boutique.

For the well-turned-out man, there’s menswear from Tread & Miller, Markham, Just Japs, Old Khaki and Polo.

The little ones can also enjoy wearing fun, trendy, and kid-friendly fashion. Childrenswear at Ballito Junction includes Keedo, Cotton On Kids and Baby Boom.

“One of Ballito’s most appealing features is its outdoor lifestyle. It is the envy of everyone with its gorgeous climate and beautiful beachfront, perfect for anyone who enjoys sun, sea and sports. We have specially selected brands to reflect this lifestyle with a long and impressive list of sportswear and outdoor retailers for Ballito Junction,” explains Pat Flanagan, co-chairman of Flanagan & Gerard.

Celebrating great outdoor living are Total Sports, Sportscene, Archive, Mr Price Sport, Cape Union Mart, Hurley, The Cross Trainer, Rip Curl, Adidas, RVCA, Surfers Junction, Studio 88, Lorna Jane, Street Gear and Due South.

Ballito Junction has accessories in the bag with handbag and luggage retailers The Coachman and Freedom of Movement. Staying steps ahead of the pack, footwear brands include Kingsmead, Side Step, Step Ahead, Shoe City, Brazilia, Queue Shoes, Shoeperama and Tekkie Town.

Adding a special sparkle to the mix are Ballito Junction’s jewellery and accessory stores. With names like ASJ, Browns, Cherry Design, NWJ, Pandora, Swatch, Watches Unlimited, Swarovski and Trendin’, there’s glitz and glamour for every occasion.

Of course, in sunny Ballito, one of the most important everyday accessories everyone should have is a good pair of sunnies. There will be a great eyewear choices from Sunglass Hut, Execuspecs, Dis-Chem Vision Works, Mellins I-Style, Torga Optical and Spec-Savers.

“We’re excited to showcase the fantastic fashion variety and much more when Ballito Junction opens on 23 March. We can’t wait to welcome the people of Ballito and their neighbours to share in an unmatched shopping experience that has been created especially for them,” says Flanagan.

It is easy to get to Ballito Junction. It is just off the N2 highway on Ballito Drive.
