Despite the current economic
climate, the process automation, instrumentation and control expo, held last month, in Gauteng, received excellent support and was well attended,
reports expo organiser Elan Com-
munications GM Su-Anne Willemse.

She says that the response
from industry was “amazing,” and that the standard of the
exhibitions, as well as the quality of potential buyers in industry, exceeded expectations.

The role of the expo in these difficult times is to provide an opportunity for suppliers and buyers to assess both the
developments and the different products and services in the
automation industry.

Willemse says: “The [process automation, instrumentation and control] industry is looking for cost-effective solutions to
increase productivity.”
