Atterbury, the leading South African property developer, has completed the refurbishment of Trumali House, Stellenbosch, into modern multi-tenant A-grade offices with 3,500sqm of space. It has also signed the building’s first tenant, Hungry Lion, which will begin operating from its new headquarters Trumali House from May this year.

"The location of Trumali House is ideal for our fast-growing business of 200 plus stores across Southern Africa," said Hungry Lion Quick Service Restaurant CEO, Adrian Basson. "As an innovative corporate business, we believe that the Stellenbosch energy and talent pool is the perfect cultural fit for our expanding Head Office Department."

Hungry Lion, the well-loved and growing African Chicken brand and restaurant chain, and its head office employees will benefit from Trumali House’s superbly convenient location. The offices are on the corner of the R44 - which runs between Stellenbosch and Somerset West - and Trumali Road. The building is easy to access and has excellent visibility from the R44.

Trumali House occupants also benefit from the convenience of nearby shopping facilities, including a convenience centre, filling station, and 24-hour Woolworths that are all only minutes away. The building is well served by public transport and is in good proximity to several of the town's schools. It is directly adjacent to the new Eikestad Mediclinic hospital, which also makes it the ideal address for businesses for medical industry partners.

The clean-lined contemporary office building provides generous parking to match its location in the bustling town of Stellenbosch and around-the-clock security. It lets building users enjoy the surrounding lush green spaces, with views of nature proven to inspire and energise people, supporting their health and productivity in the workplace.

Atterbury Western Cape Development Manager Gerrit van den Berg, says: “We are pleased to welcome Hungry Lion as the first business to open its offices at the new Trumali House. Securing this exciting and expanding brand for these offices is an excellent starting point from which to build the vibrant business community at Trumali House. We look forward to a long and strong relationship with Hungry Lion in the future.”

Some 2,400sqm of office space now remains available to lease at Trumali House, with a generous parking ratio of four bays per 100sqm. Negotiations are underway with several prospective clients and the signing of a second tenant is imminent.

Atterbury is a property development and investment company with a track record of more than 24 years that has offices in Pretoria and Stellenbosch. Atterbury Europe operates from Leiden in The Netherlands. Atterbury has an established national and international track record in developing, investing and managing blue-chip properties

and is acknowledged in the market for its long-term relationships with its clients and leadership in the real estate industry.
