ASK SA is proud to announce that the company is now a supplier of M’Dina bus, the official transportation operator for the city of Casablanca, Morocco. SK has been selected by M2M, to deliver the contactless cards for Casablanca’s new bus network. M’Dina Bus decided to choose ASK to upgrade its system and to offer a more convenient and versatile way of transportation.
Since 2004, M’dina Bus is the main actor in the public transportation of the great Casablanca and took the opportunity to extend and develop the network of buses in the city and its vicinity. Today M’dina bus provides more than 1.5 million of travels a day thanks to its numerous and efficient lines that cover more than 120 000 hectares. M’dina Bus also employs more than 4500 collaborators who work on a daily basis to improve and facilitate transportation for the inhabitants of Casablanca.
The transport operator has organized a centralized system in order to improve the global quality of the services provided to their customers. “The new multi-purpose smart cards are easier to use and more reliable. They also have the potential to provide greater flexibility for transportation, said Rachid Hanane, Chief of Operating of the M2M corporation. We are very satisfied of ASK card’s quality which proved to be highly reliable.”
Based on CD 21 chip, the smart cards have been provided to the users of M’Dina network. As Hamdi Chaouch, MEA sales manager for ASK in charge of the region claims: “It was a great challenge and opportunity to work with M2M and to supply the smart cards for such an expansive and competitive market. We are honored to have built such a prosperous, loyal and long-term relationship with this main actor of transportation in Morocco.” Millions of cards, tickets and inlays for identity have been delivered in more than 250 cities since 1997 by ASK. Highly reliable, cost effective and environmentally friendly, ASK technology is part of ASK global sustainable development policy.
