ArupProud To Have Contributed To SAPOA 2018 Award Winning Projects

Arup congratulates our clients, the V&A Waterfront and Attacq, who between them took over nine awards at the South African Property Owners Association (SAPOA) 2018 Awards. We are delighted to have partnered with these visionary firms on several of these projects and help them realise their built ambitions.
The awards covered projects within the V&A Silo District (the Silo District itself; the Grain Silo; Zeitz MOCAA; and the Radisson RED) and the PwC Tower project. Arup supplied valuable multidisciplinary engineering services that significantly influenced the built form and commercial viability of all five of these iconic developments.
“All these projects are worthy winners of the SAPOA 18 Awards and we congratulate the developers, the builders and the consultants that made up the teams that worked on them. It is testament to collaborative design, trusting relationships and unfaltering execution in the face of relentless challenges that so many awards were given to these particular game-changing developments,” concludes Lee-Zane Greyling, Director at Arup.
