Project Description
The Apiacás hydropower park will generate more than 490 GW/y, enough to meet the yearly energy needs of more than 200 000 Brazilian households and avoiding about 280 000 t of carbon dioxide emissions.

The project comprises the 45 MW Salto Apiacás, the 30 MW Cabeça de Boi and the 27 MW Fazenda power plants for a combined installed capacity of 102 MW.
