The Dickinson group’s anchor division has been supplying anchor systems with durable and reliable stud welding for the past 22 years.
In particular, the company’s refractory fibre and anchor systems division successfully provides for the needs of the furnace industry, servicing and supplying anchors, steel fibres and stud-welding equipment.
Refractory fibre and anchor systems specialises in manufacturing refractory anchors and CNC wire formed parts.
The division also imports and distributes stud welding equipment and studs for the Southern African manufacturing industry.
These are used in various applications, including telecommunications, signage, lifts, automotive, mining, general engineering, furnaces, buildings and steel structures.
The company imports stud welding machines from Taylor stud welding, in the UK, and Soyer stud welding, in Germany.
“Not only do we offer a variety of application methods, our secure fastening system is also cheaper and faster than our competitors,” claims company director Miles Simpson.
The Dickinson group boasts the largest refractory installer in South Africa, performing a total turnkey operation from demolition, steel structure supply and erection, anchor supply and installation, refractory material supply and installation.
