JSE-listed steel producer ArcelorMittal South Africa (AMSA) has shortlisted three potential CEO candidates, who are currently going through a final board-selection process.

Acting CEO Dr Hans Rosenstock said on Friday that the board would make an “appropriate announcement” once the process had been concluded.

Rosenstock was appointed to act in the position as from February 18, after Nonkululeko Nyembezi-Heita stepped down as CEO.

Nyembezi-Heita was subsequently appointed chairperson of the JSE and CEO of Ichor Coal.
