Allan Gray increases shares in Caledonia
JOHANNESBURG (miningweekly.com) – Triple-listed gold miner Caledonia Mining’s largest significant shareholder, investment services provider Allan Gray, has increased its interest in the company from 1.17-million common shares (11.06% of the shares in issue) to 1.26-million common shares (11.91% of the shares in issue), making Allan Gray a significant shareholder in the company.
The aggregate number of shares of the company in which Allan Gray's funds have an interest in Caledonia has, therefore, increased to 2. 045-million common shares, which represents a total of 19.38% of the shares in issue.
Meanwhile, Caledonia said in an update on Tuesday that it had not been notified of any change to Allan Gray's interest through its other relevant fund, Allan Gray Africa Equity Fund Limited, from 787 930 common shares, which represents 7.46% of the shares in issue.
