Project Description
The Nasr offshore oilfield is located about 80 miles north-west of Abu Dhabi in the Arabian Gulf.

Nasr Phase 2 is part of the projects identified by Abu Dhabi to increase the crude oil production of the UAE. As a result of the size of the project, with seven platforms, 210 km of pipelines and 200 km of subsea cables, the Nasr full field development project has been divided into three main engineering, procurement and construction packages.

Nasr Phase 2, Package 1 comprises seven wellhead towers, subsea pipelines, including infield subsea pipelines, an excess gas line to Umm Shaif and a main oil line to Das Island.

Nasr Phase 2, Package 2 comprises the Nasr Super Complex, including an accommodation platform; a separation platform; a gas treatment platform; flares; bridges and bridge support; a manifold tower; power from a 132 kV substation at Das Island; a 140 km of 132 kV cables and 55 km of 11 kV infield cables; and a distribution platform at Umm Shaiff and brownfiled topside modifications.

Nasr Phase 2, Package 3 comprises brownfield process facilities, utilities modifications and an onshore mail oil line at Das Island.

When completed, Phase 2 will produce yearly average production of 65 000 bbl/d of crude oil.

Latest Developments
KBR has received a letter of award from Hyundai Heavy Industries to perform engineering design services for ADMA-OPCO’s Nasr full field development project – Phase 2.

Under the terms of the contract, KBR will provide engineering design and support services for the entire Nasr Phase 2, Package 2 scope, with the services provided by KBR’s office in Singapore and supported by other KBR offices.
