Afrivalve, the specialist sales division of the eDART Group has moved into new, improved and expanded premises in February 2017. The continued growth in sales and extended range of valves supplied by Afrivalve, made the move into larger premises a necessity not only in terms of stock holding, but also to offer greater accessibility to their local client base.

Gregor Hopton, Group Marketing Manager for Afrivalve commented “In the last 18 months Afrivalve has focused on increasing its market share and expanding its product offering. We have been incredibly successful in this regard. Additionally, Afrivalve has been engaged in more project work and this led us to look for premises that could accommodate our operations and stock holding. As we are now selling more large diameter knifegate valves (up to DN800), space, as well became a priority, and we believe our new facilities in Kya Sands, Randburg will fit our sales and manufacturing requirements perfectly”.

“Our new premises will give us the ability to centralise our sales team and soon will be the assembly facility of the C-Tech Knifegate and RedRoc Pinch valves which are currently manufactured at eDART’s facility in Jet Park, east of Johannesburg. We are very excited about our expansion, it means we can service and supply our clients more seamlessly and efficiently” said Hopton.

Afrivalve’s new premises are at: 7 Industrial Road, Kya sands, Randburg. Tel: 011 791 1411.

Afrivalve, which was launched in 2015, to further expand the eDART range of  products to offer complete packages and capture new markets, recently became the official distributor of the Gemü Valve and Control Systems range for the mining and metal refining sector in Africa.
