In an effort to decrease their carbon footprint on the environment, Roman’s Pizza Head Office in Centurion recently chose to install a PV solar plant, among other related “green” decisions. The plant is one of several actions they are implementing to do their part to conserve the environment.

In a recent change toward environmentalism, Roman’s Pizza has taken many steps to become a greener enterprise. From eliminating all plastic straws to changing out all normal fluorescent light bulbs to LED’s, they have taken every possible step to reduce their carbon footprint and become a more sustainable business.

Installing the 137 kWp grid-tied installation at their head office in Centurion was one of the decisions made to become more sustainable.

Given their extensive background in renewable energy, specifically solar PV, NSE was awarded the opportunity to be part of the tender process for Roman’s Pizza Head Office. Roman’s Pizza Head of Business Development and Franchising, Nicolas Christodoulou, says of their decision to work with NSE, “the positive feedback and referrals we had received from other companies which have already concluded business with (NSE), led to our decision to work with them.”

“The tender was awarded to NSE because of the honesty, thoroughness and reasonable pricing, our meetings with Deepak and Nikos left us with a feeling of reassurance and confidence in the plant and more so with NSE.” Further, on their experience working with NSE, Christodoulou says “my biggest commendation will have to be to NSE's project team.

From the delivery of the materials to the onsite safety and supervision to completion ahead of schedule as well as the cleanliness after completion to the final sign off, service was superb.”
