Journalist, private business entrepreneur and political commentator Moeletsi Mbeki speaks to Polity about his new book ‘Advocates for Change: How to Overcome Africa’s Challenges’.

The book is a follow-up to Mbeki’s top-selling book ‘Architects of Poverty: Why African Capitalism Needs Changing’, which set out the challenges facing Africa.

‘Advocates for Change’ looks at possible solutions to these challenges and features essays written by 12 experts from across Africa, including economist and writer Seeraj Mohamed, University of the Free State rector Professor Jonathan Jansen and Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa secretary-general Sindiso Ndema Ngwenya.
