4th Western Cape Manufacturing Indaba planned for the Western Cape Province

Western Cape Manufacturing Indaba an annual Provincial event, and part of the national Manufacturing Indaba campaign, will be hosted on the 7th November 2018 at the Century City Convention Centre in Cape Town.
 
The Western Cape Manufacturing Indaba intends to bring together provincial manufacturers and businesses to explore growth opportunities, ascertain information regarding the latest manufacturing incentives and trends, and provide a platform for networking and collaboration.
 
With high-level government and industry role players speaking at the conference, the programme is filled with content specifically tailored to meet the needs of the province’s manufacturing businesses.  In addition, the event will host manufacturing companies who will be exhibiting their products and services to the delegates in attendance, with a focus on expansion and access to new markets.
 
This year’s Western Cape  Manufacturing Indaba will successfully reflect on key discussions pertinent to both small and large manufacturers in the Province, namely:

Panel Discussion 1 discussion will based on Maximising the Market for Manufacturers: Support mechanisms available to Manufacturers . What tools are available to help manufacturers: Understanding how government can assist manufacturers & what incentives, investment and financing solutions are available.
 
Panel Discussion 2 discussion will be based on Access to new markets for Manufacturers. General economic trends that can impact manufacturers. New geographic markets, i.e. exporting into the rest of Africa. Explore new innovations and technologies to grow and provide new market sectors to sell to.
 
Panel Discussion 3 discusion will be based on Manufacturing The Future - Be part of the 4th Industrial Revolution and understand the implications for your company. Insight into strategic thinking around opportunities to develop and threats to manage when moving towards. Industry 4.0. Our panel of industry leaders will share their thoughts on proactively managing the change while keeping ahead of the curve. Are you still struggling to see how it applies to your company? This panel discussion is designed to help small to large manufacturers understand how Industry.
 
The event aim is to support manufacturers by sharing relevant and important content to help them grow their manufacturing businesses, with the guidance of government policy through the IPAP.
