Company Announcement - DLO Energy Resources Events (Pty) Ltd presents the 4TH annual Renewables and Energy Forum Southern Africa Conferencetaking place on the 10th and 11th of May 2016 at the Johannesburg Stock Exchange in Sandton. The REFSA Conference is one of the leading energy events in South Africa attracting senior decision makers both in the public and private sector across the globe. It provides a platform through which developers could engage regulators on issues affecting the Renewable Energy Sector.
Sponsored by Standard Bank, DM5 Incorporated and Endima consulting to name a few, the focus of this year’s conference will be on domestic opportunities within South Africa’s Energy sector as well as a focus on opportunities across the continent. “One of our key drivers this year is to see a meaningful growth in the participation of women owned enterprises in the energy sector across the African continent and a key component blocking that growth is often to do with access to information about these projects as well as accessing funding” said REFSA founder Linda Mabhena-Olagunju. In addition to that the conference also hopes to encourage black industrialist and or African industrialists to participate in the manufacturing side of the energy sector. “We are excited about this year’s programme because we will not only be looking at opportunities in South Africa but rather opportunities in energy across the continent as a whole”.
In partnership with the Southern African Alternative Energy Association and Green Cape, some key topics to be discussed include the Gas to Power Programme, the Coal IPP Programme, the Nuclear Programme and Funding. Delegates can download and complete a registration form at www.refsaconference.com
